Mensch Squad
The Mensch Squad at Shomrei Emunah has more than 60 members (men, women and teens) who are on call to perform acts of kindness for members in need. Linked by email, the mensches visit the sick, drive members to medical appointments, help form shiva minyans, cook meals for members sidelined by injuries or illness, run errands for new parents, provide rides to schul and much more. Our numbers have swelled in the last two years, so there is always a mensch (or two or three) available when members need us. Please join our ranks, whether you have a little or a lot of time. Every act of kindness helps bring us closer to being a kehillah kedushah (sacred community).
