KADIMA NEWS AND VIEWS

About ten 6th & 7th graders have become regulars at Shomrei Kadima events over the pas few months. In February, we held two awesome events: Movie Scene It and Purim Carnival Booth Building.

March holds four more events for our Kadima chapter. Two are regional events, which students are encouraged to attend: Roller Rama in Woodbridge on the 30th, and a Shabbaton for 8th graders only in East Brunswick on March 7th-9th. Our chapter events are TBD event by the kids on the March 9th and the Purim Carnival on Friday, March 21st
Time?.

We still need a parent to help with phone calls and food for our events. Kindly consider lending us a hand. We thank you in advance for this!

Watch for our flyers! Encourage your kids to bring their Jewish friends from other congregations to our events!


Meet Our New Kadima Advisor

Evan Oberstein, our new Kadima (grades 6-8) advisor, is a student at Montclair State, where he is a music education major, after studying music for 11 years. He is also vice president of Hillel at MSU. Evan loves to teach and work with kids, and will also be the music specialist for the JLC. Check out the Kadima calendar and join us for a chance to hang out with old friends, meet new ones and have a great time.
