A Parents Only Parlor meeting was held in February. Parents who attended could not wait to get on board and support USY’s big push into spring. Please join that group to make this chapter the huge success it can be! We need parental support and cooperation.

There was a “make your own sundae” and Purim carnival set up meeting in March. Stay tuned via FaceBook and emails for date and times. We need USY members and non- members to help support, build and work at the 3/21 Purim Carnival. Plan to attend the regional dance and volunteer at the HUC soup kitchen.

Meet Our USY Advisor

Eliot Spiegel, our new USY (grades 9-12) advisor, wants to make Shomrei Emunah a cool(er) place to be! Eliot comes to Shomrei with decades of USY experience, starting when he was a USYer. Playing Golf, tennis, teaching at a gym & bicycling are Eliot’s passions, along with his family and USY. He’s the Director of Sales of Rasta Imposta, a costume company. (Get ready for Purim!) and is married to Fran and has two gorgeous kids. Before you say No to USY, come check it out!

USY has a very exciting calendar coming up this fall. Some of the events in September include a Bar-B-Q, a kayaking trip and Pizza-in-the-Hut. Dates and places will confirm soon – so stay in touch!
